My max online was working... but for quite a while... it's been stuck:

I'm not caching the IIP.... and it's been like that for a week or so (that I've noticed)

In order for Max Online to be tracked the "Who's Online" pal box needs to be in use. It is this box that calculates and compares the numbers and also stores them. The Short Stats pal box only displays them. The number will not change unless it is replaced with a higher number. The caching query is always in use, one before the page is displayed to read cache, and one at the end of displaying to store any new information along with information that was not changed. (usually because it wasn't time to update it)

Unless you have 51 or more visitors and users show up that number will not change.


I will be changing this so there will be seperate Max totals for members/guests/both for the next version.

I am running the Online Pal... but I see what you are saying.

I'm thinking it's wrong because there were 0 members on... but at some moment.... there must have really been 0 members and 50 anon....

That's not our record... but it's probably the record since the new IIP.
